Welcome to my stamping blog!
This is home for my creative self. I have been a Stampin’ UP! demonstrator since May of 2009 and I still find stamping one of the most creative and rewarding of all the crafts I’ve tried. And believe me, I’ve tried a lot. From the time I was a child cutting out Halloween pumpkins at the kitchen table to plaster of Paris Nativity sets in the basement, I was always involved in some type of craft. As an adult I did ceramics, counted cross stitch, sewing, drawing, pastels and charcoal. I even did macrame in the 70s.
But stamping was different. From the moment I took a look at my first Idea Book and Catalog I was hooked. Although I wanted to join Stampin' Up! immediately because of the discount, I was apprehensive about the commitment I was making. That is until I discovered there wasn't a commitment! Where do I sign up?! My original intent was to join for the discount. But because I have a degree teaching, it wasn't long before I crossed over into the ranks of Career Demonstrator. I love all aspects of being a demonstrator. I offer classes, workshops, product training, and mentoring of individuals who decide to join Stampin' Up! as I did just a few years back. I am blessed with a love for the art and the ability to share it with others.
Don't be intimidated by the art or the commitment. I’m on the lookout for people like me to enjoy the art of rubber stamping AND to join Stampin’ UP!. Either as a Hobby Demonstrator or a Career Demonstrator, love what you do and share what you love.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
