Stampin’ Up! Fresh Freesia and Blushing Bride
It's the first Monday of the month and that means it's time for the Stamp Review Crew’s Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' UP! demonstrators sharing a ton of ideas focused on a single stamp set. This week we're featuring the Something Fancy Cling stamp set. You have likely come from Jay Soriano’s blog on your way through this amazing hop. If you get lost, simply click on the banner for a list of participants and get back on track.
What better stamp set than Something Fancy to use for a wedding card? And what better color than Blushing Bride (a retiring color the end of April)? The Something Fancy Bundle shoul definitely be in your stash. This set has a great collection of stamps and a greater collection of dyes to frame those stamps with. Sentiments ranging from Thank You all the way through to With Sympathy are part of this stamp set and multiple dyes of the same shape are in the dies, the set to not only cut out a shape, but mat it in the same shape. Perfect! Add a few design cut outs and a tag hole and you’re good as gold. (Which is what I used for the backing cord a metallic dots accents!) The ribbon is 1/4” white satin colored with a Fresh Freesia. Blends Marker (a 2021-23 In Color that will be moving to the Subtles Color Collection in the 2023-24 Annual Catalog). The paper is from the last Sale-a-bration in January and February. It’s perfect for spring - AND weddings.
