Stampin’ Up! Gather Together Bundle and Crafting Forever Clear Mount Stamp Set
I love fall. It’s my favorite season. Growing up in Michigan created some wonderful memories. I can still smell the scent of burning leaves. That was back in the 50s when it was still okay. A fall palette of wet leaves decoupaged to the sidewalk from a light rain is still my idea of God’s work of art. 🍁
Here is my 2nd in a series of cards using the Gather Together Bundle. This time I’m highlighting the leaves dies. I love the way the corrugated Brushed Silver Card Stock gives this card an industrial feel. The pot of paint brushes creates the finishing touch.
Step by Step Tips:
- Each of the leaves was die cut using the embossing die. I gently rubbed the surface of each leaf on the Golden Glitz Delecata Metallic Ink Pad. These take a while to dry, so while you wait, create the background.
- Cut a 4” x 5” piece of Brushed Silver Card Stock. This is a retired item, so if you don’t have any, Smoky Slate Card Stock will work too. Run it through the Big Shot using the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. The width will decrease to 3 3/4” making it fit perfectly on the 4” x 5 1/4” piece of Real Red Card Stock.
- I stamped the paint brush cup using Early Espresso Card Stock on Very Vanilla Card Stock and colored the brushes using various Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers.
- Cut out the pot of brushes and attach it to the card base using Dimensionals.
- Check to see if the leaves are dry and attach them using Dimensionals. Simple!
Lovely, and original, Mike!

Bravo!!! The element of beautiful fall colors with the pop of "metal" is simply stunning, Mike. What a treat for these old eyes!

What a great idea to use the gold ink on the leaves. I would never have thought of that! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
