It's the third Monday of the month and that means it's time for the Stamp Review Crew. We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators focused on sharing a ton of ideas focusing on a single stamp set. This week we're featuring Sweet Stack. You have likely come from Kelly Kent on your way hrough this amazing hop. If you get lost, simply click on the banner for a list of participants and get back on track.
Although this isn't intended as a background stamp, that's what the Stamp Review Crew is all about. We give you ideas on new and unique ways to use a stamp set. And I'm guessing very few people have thought to use this as a background. So I thought I'd give you an alternate direction for this set. The set is comprised of several images - all intended to be used as decorations on a cake, but all have the characteristics to create unite backgrounds. Let the games begin!
Step by Step Tips:
- I started out with a 4" x 5 1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock. Starting at the bottom I stamped Melon Mambo classic ink. Then stamp again above the first image without re-inking. Repeat this with Flirty Flamingo and Pink Piouette.
- Mat this on a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" piece of Flirty Flamingo.
- Stamp the sentiment using VersaMark ink and emboss using White Stampin' Emboss powder. Attach this to the card face using three Dimensionals! Simple!
Next stop on the hop is Tanya Boser where she'll wow you with her beautiful design skills.
