It's the 1st Monday of the month and that means it's time for the Stamp Review Crew. We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators focused on sharing a ton of ideas featuring a single stamp set. This week it's a set called Jingle All The Way. This set is a companion stamp set to the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies. You can save 14% by purchasing the two as a bundle. You have likely come from Betty Traciak on your way through this amazing hop. If you get lost, simply click on the banner for a list of participants and get back on track.
I know I say this about just about every card I make, but this set was not easy to use. I mean LOOK at the set! It's little images - lots of them! Oh sure, I could have used it WITH the Edgelits, but then that wouldn't have shown you a unique way to use this set. And after all, the Stamp Review Crew is all about showing you different ways to use a stamp set. I hope you find my take unique.
Step by Step tips:
- I used my 1" paper punch to punch out 12 squares of Designer Series Paper - 4 squares of 3 different papers.
- I selected one pattern of DSP and stamped the same image on all four squares using VersaMark® ink and Gold Embossing powder. Repeat this for the other two DSP squares. By doing this it males it a lot easier to arrange the squares on the card front without having the same image or pattern together.
- Lay out the twelve squares on the card front to get a feeling for the spacing. Then start gluing! I did all four corners first, and then filled in the middle.
- The sentiment was stamped on the same series of DSP. Then I used the curve from the Sleigh Ride Edgelits set, cropped off the ends and mounted iy using Dimensionals. Easy!
Next stop on this amazing hop is Linda Callahan. Hop on over to her blog to see how she used this set.

Hey Mike, cute and easy Christmas card. If you wanted. To make a bunch, it'd be easily done. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

I love how you always focus on the stamp set and not the coordinating dies, Mike. I think you did a fabulous job of coming up with something different. Using tiny stamps is hard! I love the gold embossing on the patterned paper. Nice card!

I agree - it is a hard set to use other than the standard "scene" building. But I love that you showed a different way to use the set. Great job.
