It's the first Monday of the month! And that means it's time for the Stamp Review Crew! Time to give you a ton of ideas for a single stamp set. You have likey come from Shana Gaff's blog on your way through this amazing hop. If you get lost, simply click on the banner for a list of participants and get back on track.
The Stamp Review Crew participated at Convention this year with our own collection of designs. On July 21 I posted one of my entries for the Lovely As A Tree set. This week I'll be sharing with you a few cards I created from the Flower Patch photopolymer set.
- For the Congratulations card I started by creating a pattern with the striped triangle from the What's Your Type set stamped in Smokey Slate. That creates some texture without overpowering the design. In fact you may not have even noticed the design - but it's there!
- Next For both cards I added the darkest ink color with the large daisy from the Flower Patch set. Dont fill in all the white space, just place the images far enough apart to accommodate another image in a different color. Then repeat with the lighter color and the same stamp. I filled in the remaining spaces with the small daisy from the same set.
- The Congratulations card has a layered flower stamped in Blackberry Bliss, dotted with Dazzling Details Glitter Glue (my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE FOR BLING!) and cut out with the Flower Flair Framelits die. It's topped with a Champagne Glimmer Paper star from the same Framelits set and tipped with Basic Rhinestones.
- The Christmas Card sentiment was stamped on Brushed Silver card stock using StazOnĀ® Jet Black Ink. A simple black ribbon to balance the ink was added to the bottom. Simple!
Next stop on the Hop is Betty Traciak where she'll wow you with her beautiful design skills.
Two bright and fun cards Mike. I would never have thought Christmas with this set - but it works!

Love both of these Mike. The second one reminds me of a Hawaiian Christmas - Mele Kalikimaka!

Hi Mike, just gorgeous as always. This set has become my favorite stamp set. I'm so glad I ordered it in my kit. The dies are perfect, with or without the stamps too. Just colored in with markers or straight from the Ink pad. Off to hop along, hugs Jess
