Stampin' Up! What's Your Type & Bordering Blooms
It's time for the weekly Paper Players Challenge. This week it's a color challenge using three of the new In Colors for 2014-15 and Wisteria Wonder. I decided to create a trellis using What's My Type for the Wisteria Wonder vines created by Bordering Blooms to creep up!
- The trellis was created by starting at the bottom of a 5 1/4“ tall piece of card stock. I inked the triangle strip ”What's Your Type?“ Stamp and stamped it off once on a scrap. Then huffed and imprinted the image in the bottom left corner matching the corner of the image with the corner of the paper. Repeat the process making sure the bottom of the stamp touched the top point of the previous image. Continue until the left edge is covered. Then I gave the Stamp a quarter turn. Starting at the top left corner I repeated the process DOWN the left side.
- The foliage of the Bordering Blooms was stamped without stamping off.
- The flowers are stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink on Rich Razzleberry card stock and attached wit dimensionals.
- The pennants were created by measuring three strips of paper 2”, 1 3/4“ and 1 1/2”. The ends were created using one of the Squares Framelits. The sentiment pennant (1 3/4“) was stamped first and then passed through the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. Simple!
Mike, fabulous job showcasing so many products. You brought them together beautifully and yet, you still managed to let the sentiment shine. Gorgeous

Oh my goodenss--how clever you are making a trellis from that stamp set! Love the trellis in lost lagoon--makes it look like sky behind the vines. Gorgeous (and clever) use of the colors, Mike! Looking forward to meeting you this week! ((hugs))

Great card! Now I must add Bordering Blossoms to my order....ooooh, you cost me lots of money! BTW, I have used the Petite Petals stamp set and punch a lot. My senior friends love it! They loved the layered/stacked card, too...but decided to learn with a simpler one first. So I will give my sample to my doctor Monday for her birthday.

Great use of this week's colours on your card Mike - I especially love the ingenious use of What's My Type? for the trellis. The Petite Petals flowers really stand out in the two-tone purples too.
