I love silver & black. I love pink and black. So why not put them all together? The Silver Metalic Encore Pad is the exact same finish as our Brushed Metalic Card Stock. Plus it's VERY opaque so the finish rings true! This card for me is very modern/elegant. And I love the look of the tapestry silver images on Basic Black.
Putting It Together Tips:
- Creating the tapestry arrows was the biggest challenge. The Metalic Encore Pads are very sticky, much like the VersaMark pads are. Be sure to wash both your acrylic block and the image side of the clear mount stamp with a mild dishwashing detergent to remove any oil from the surfaces. Just rubbing your hand across them can transfer oil.
- No way I could have ever done this without my Stamp-a-ma-jig! A small piece of scrap vellum was all I needed to creat the initial image for placement.
- To create the flower, I used a small “sample yougurt” spoon to first place the Melon Mambo Stampin' Emboss Powder, and then the Wild Wasabi. Heat emboss. Paper Snips made fussy cutting a snap. I trimmed down a Dimensional to a fine sliver to support the fragile stem.
- The patterned oval was cut out after stamoing the image using the fourth largest Oval Framelit.
Stampn' Stuff:
Oh how well they went together too! This is a super snazzy card.

Beautiful! Love the silver and black too. I love anything with black too. It can be elegant like yours, or fun and silly too. TFS. Hugs, Jess
