My First RAK - What a feeling!
As many of you may know, I have been blogging a bit more than a year. I love my blog and the opportunity it has offered me to connect with so many of you has been the highlight of my blogging career. Some of you may remember my friend Cheryl who continues to share her wonderful projects with me. She was a friend I made during one of my card clubs. But yesterday was different.
I came home from my ”part time job“ at the church to find a small box sitting on my doorstep. What possible treasure could it hold? I opened it to find the card and treat below. The inscription read:
Dear Mike,
My kids sent you a Halloween card and they wanted me to send you a treat. I sent you some rum cake I made. I am hoping you receive it in one piece and that you like it. Take care and have a great Halloween.

I would like to thank Jessica, Anthony, and Brandon (who all supervised the creation of this incredible gift) and of course Yvette for sharing it with me. My blog takes hours to maintain as I am sure any of you who have a blog can attest to, but it's things like this that make it all worth while.
