Stampin' UP! Sweet Little Something and Petal Garden DSP
This 3D rabbit is the cutest thing! Getting a handle on the layering of colors is the biggest challenge! I found if I stamped the the darkest color first (In this case Tangerine Tango) and then the next layer in Calypso Coral. And lastly a stamped off Calypso Coral, it gave me the best dimensional effect. And of course relying on the DSP Petal Garden to provide the color pallet didn't hurt either. I made a whole series of colors and they turned out great! One tip - if you line up the bottom of the left foot and the area between the feet on each layer, it makes for a perfect match.
Step by Step Tips:
- Start by embossing a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Pool Party card stock using the Garden Trellis embossing folder. Mat it on a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Calypso Coral.
- Mat a 2 3/4" x 3" piece of Petal Garden with Calypso Coral and attach it to the card face using Dimensionals.
- Stamp the rabbit layers on Whisper White card stock and carefully cut it out using your Paper Snips.Attach it to the Petal Garden component using dimensionals.
- Stamp the banner from the Banners For You stamp set on Whisper White card stock using Calypso Coral ink. Adjust the sentiment on the acrylic block to match the curve of the banner and stamp it using Calypso Coral ink.
- Use the Bunch of Banners framelits and attach it to the card face using Dimensionals. Simple!
