Stampin' Up! Mixed Bunch
It's the third Monday of the month and that means it's time for the Stamp Review Crew. We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators focused on sharing a ton of ideas focusing on a single stamp set. This week it's a modern flower set called Mixed Bunch. You have likely come from Cindy Beach's blog on your way through this amazing hop. If you get lost, simply click on the banner for a list of participants and get back on track.
Mixed Bunch is a great set for all occasion cards. I was originally going to make a Christmas card, but figured you'd probably had enough of Christmas cards for one season, so here's a generic note card perfect for just about any occasion.
- I started by cutting a full set of leaves and a partial set of leaves from the Flower Frenzy BigzL die - one with the gold foil facing up and one facing down. Glue them to the 4'' x 5 1/4'' Basic Black card stock card front Using a Stampin' Glue Stick.
- Next stamp the small flowers on Basic Black Card Stock using VersaMark and emboss using Silver Stampin Emboss powder. Heat emboss. Punch out using the 7/8'' Scallop Circle punch. Position using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- The main flower was created using VersaMark ink and Gold Stampin' Emboss powder on a Silver Foil sheet. Heat emboss and attach it to a card front using Stampin' Dimentionals. Simple!
