Stampin' Up! One In A Million
& Itty Bitty Banners
I would have never thought to put Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango, and Early Espresso together. But that's exactly what one of my customers requested. She was buying a gift certificate from me for her sister-in-law's birthday. Of course not only do I create a one of a kind card for the gift certificate, but the color palette can also be selected.
I wanted to create a card that wasn't typically me. And this palette sure fits the bill. I'm always curious as to what other unusual color palettes would be. What would your favorite three colors be together? I'd love to know!

Putting It Together Tips:
- It's always easier to stamp the sentiment first, then use the framelit die to cut it out. The Magnetic Platform makes it so easy to position and stay there. Don't have a Magnetic Platform? Blue painter's tape works great. It holds the Framelit and is easily removed without damaging the project.
- I die cut the Tangerine Tango tag first and then evenly positioned it it the embossing folder. By taking a few minutes to be sure that the design in the embossing folder is centered, you make the job of pearl placement so much easier.
- Although the photo doesn't show it, the Happy Birthday banner is curled. The right end is attached directly to the background, and the left is held away by a double stack of Dimensionals. Curling the banner over a pencil on both sides beaks the paper fibers and makes it easier to "finesse" on the finished project.
Mike these colors look fabulous together.
Your customer will love it. I really like the sentiment stamped on the tag ... so cute. I can see your banner is curled, but I always click and blow it up to not miss any details...
hugs.

I'm with you about those 3 colors together. But your card looks great! On my lousy screen the brown looks more like navy! I don't think I have an odd color mixture in me...I'm just too conventional. lol I love black and white with any bright color. Or shades of the same color together. But I always love to see your color choices. You have a great color sense. TFS
Hugs, Jess
