Stampin' Up! Designer Fabric & Jolly Bingo Bits
Last week as part of the Pals Paper Arts November Hop I posted the Simply Adorned 1" charm "adorned" with a few of the Jolly Bingo Bits images. But what if you want to switch off? The Simply Adorned set is designed for easy swapping, but what do you do with the inserts you're not using? Here's my answer. It's a nifty little folding album that stores all 12 Jolly Bingo Bits covered in Stampin' Up!s new Designer Fabrics. And the best news is there's not a stitch of stitching!
By the way, it's blog candy week at the PPA!

Putting It Together Tips:
- Giving directions for this project is almost impossible, but I'll try and I can give some measurements. The chipboard was cut the same size as an A2 card - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Both pieces were layed long sides together and I drew horizontal lines at 1 1/4", 2 1/4", 3 3/4" & 5"
- All inside fabric was held in place with SNAIL. The fabric was cut 8 1/2" x 11" with the strips running parallel to the 8 1/2" side.
- Starting at the top I placed a run of SNAIL along the top edge, 1" down all four chipboard edges, and above the 1 1/4" pencil mark. Carefully position the fabric on the chipboard with the 8 1/2" edge against the top 8 1/2" edges of the side by side chipboard and press in place.
- Fold the fabric back to reveal the 1 1/4" pencil line and using a steam iron create a crisp crease along the pencil mark.
- Fold the fabric back down creating a 1/2" pocket and press a crisp crease parallel to the 1 1/4" pencil mark.
- Repeat steps 1-3 at the 2 1/2", 3 3/4" & 5" marks creating a total of 4 horizontal pockets. Trim the access fabric flush with the bottom edge of the chip board.
- Cover the outside of the album with a contrasting fabric. Close the album to attach the fabric to allow for the extra fabric. Attach the fabric edges using Fabric Adhesive in 1/4" strips. I folded the fabric over to have a finished edge. It's kind of like wrapping a present!

This is a fabulous idea. My downline group swap inchies at each of our meetings, this will be a great project to store them in. Thank you so much for sharing.Karen

Wow Mike! I am impressed with your idea and the little pockets! The world is a better place because I don't sew, but I think I could do this - with the help of my engineer/woodworker husband of course! LOL Thanks for blessing my day. :)

Another homerun Mike! This is such a clever idea - especially with the Holidays. You really are so creative that it boggles my mind.

Brilliant (clever came to mind first but Ann already swooped it). You used "real" fabric vs. ribbon . . . you get a gold star. Hugs, M
