Stampin' Up! Sunny Garden DSP and Poppy Parade
I love our Designer Series paper! I can always rely on it to pull off a great color combination for me. Today was no exception. I designed the card around Sunny Garden DSP. Simply Said provided my graphic along with Because I Care, a Level 1 Hostess Set, and Falling Leaves for the sentiment. I have been trying to keep my projects with one to two stamp sets, but today I had to break out and go crazy! I hope you enjoy!

Putting It Together Tips:
- I love matching two patterns in the DSP pack of papers. Many times you can just flip the paper over, as I did with this great stripe and print. Here I kind of used the wallpaper rule of thumb in reverse where I used the heavier color on top and the stripe on the bottom. You can so use decorating techniques in card making!
- I decided to use Whisper White card stock for the graphic base. I was afraid any color - even Very Vanilla - would make the card to dark. So the color that made THIS card pop was White! Who knew?
- The minimal addition of Pear Pizzazz as the ribbon pulled the pear in the DSP out. You could also print the graphic, sentiment, and line of flowers in Pear Pizzazz and it would work equally as well.
- To get the scallop border to match perfectly, I punched a row of scallops and then trimmed to the closest scallop to the size I needed. I was lucky in that the length was perfect!
- The small border of lined flowers from the Because I Care set was the perfect touch for the bottom of the white rectangle!

Love the card Mike. I think the Simply Said was one of the first sets I bought, and I use it quite often! I'm happy to say that since my son moved out recently, I have my very own room to craft in! It's almowt set up, can't wait to get started!
